The Divergence Experience Center
Overview
The Marlabs Experience Center is a dynamic and interactive space that encapsulates the very essence of our digital transformation capabilities. The Experience Center embodies the three core pillars of our approach to digital innovation: design, technology, and human experience.
Located in Bangalore, India, the Experience Center is home to Marlabs' collaborative spaces for brainstorming possibilities, incubating solutions, and building strategies across the human experience and data insights, all within a center for innovation excellence.
Serving as the Executive Director of Innovation, I helped build out the ideas and implement the vision behind the Experience Center through working with our architects, design partners, and agencies.
I spearheaded the initiative to revamp our office environment to better reflect our cutting-edge brand and foster a culture of innovation. After an extensive vetting process, we engaged a top-tier design agency to create environmental graphics that would transform our workspace. I'm thrilled to share the journey we undertook and the exceptional results we achieved.
From the outset, I was determined to create a space that would not only impress our clients but also inspire our team to push the boundaries of innovation. Our company's rapid growth and evolving needs demanded a workspace that could adapt and scale with us. I challenged the agency to create an environment that would embody our brand essence while facilitating collaboration, creativity, and technological advancement.
The process began with an intensive discovery phase. I personally led the agency team through our operations, sharing our vision, values, and long-term goals. We granted them unprecedented access to our staff, from C-suite executives to entry-level employees, ensuring they captured the full spectrum of our company culture. I was impressed by their thorough approach, which included analyzing our competitors' spaces and studying the latest trends in office design and environmental graphics.
As concepts began to take shape, I worked closely with the agency's creative director to refine their ideas. We held weekly brainstorming sessions where we pushed each other to think bigger and bolder. I insisted on designs that would be not just visually stunning, but also functional and aligned with our technological capabilities.
One of my key priorities was creating a cohesive journey from the moment someone entered our building. I challenged the agency to design wall graphics that would tell our company's story as visitors made their way to our office. The result was a series of striking murals that showcased our evolution from a startup to an industry leader, incorporating interactive elements that hinted at the innovation within.
In conclusion, this project has been a resounding success, positioning our company at the forefront of our industry not just in terms of our solutions, but also in the very way we approach innovation. The environmental graphics have played a crucial role in creating a workspace that inspires, impresses, and drives us forward. As we continue to push the boundaries of digital transformation, our office stands as a physical manifestation of our commitment to innovation and excellence.
